The new Red Hot Chili Peppers album '‘Stadium Arcadium’ will be produced by Rick Rubin and released in April. Kiedis said last year, "I'm so excited about it and I'm so ready for it to be part of the public consciousness. It's a lot different to 'By The Way'. There are some profoundly funky songs and then there are songs that are new for us and don't sound like anything."

I really like it when bands make silk screened posters for different dates on a tour. Its a great opportunity to get some more band inspired artwork out there, and usually make great collector items. Pearl Jam have been doing it for years, but here are some White Stripes Posters from the recent tour.

There were tons of albums that were great this year, I hear of a new one I want to listen to almost weekly. Its hard to keep up, but here are some that stood out for one reason or another. I'm sure there are a few others that really belong here and might be added later so check back.

The Subways played their 1st show ever on the east coast 12.03.05 @ Great Scott in Allston Ma. Not only did they rock the sold out capacity crowd, but they are friendly as hell too.
We'll have some reviews of the show up this week.
Go out and get Youth for Eternity on Feb. 14th
The Twenty Twos opened the show and were great. I had never heard of the band before, but after meeting the bassist before the show, I was interested in hearing them. They didn't disappoint and are on the [wDMO///Radar] and should be on yours too.
If it sweetens the deal, the 3 chicks in the band are cute and the drummer goes 100% non stop. Its great to watch and even better on the ears. They play a great live show and really started the night off right.
Check out The Twenty Twos:
