AC Beer Festival II

2007 Celebration of the Suds Atlantic City Beer Festival

Saturday March 10th & Sunday March 11th 2007

Location: The Atlantic City Convention Center 0ne Miss America Way
Atlantic City, NJ 08401

Must be 21 or older to attend

Presented by: Unsuited Entertainment

This was undoubtedly the greatest event I've ever attended in Atlantic City, and possibly the greatest of my lifetime. If you would like to give me Superbowl tickets, or an all expense paid trip to SxSW maybe I'd change my mind. Until then, AC Beer Fest II is something you can't afford to miss.

It's 7 months away and I'm already excited. Mark your calendars, and block off the whole weekend kids. You'll need it.

Biology Prevails!

And now the Video to my favorite Audio of the Year
-TV on the Radio-Wolf Like Me[VIDEO]

Sunday Sept 17th: EMOS Austin
TV on the Radio/What Made Milwaukee Famous /// Aftershow. Good Times Austin.

I've been trying to listen to some of the bands that'll be at Austin City Limits. The Line up is stacked as always, but I wanted to get more familiar with the bands I've heard of, but never actually heard.

/// What Made Milwaukee Famous

What Made Milwaukee Famous is Michael Kingcaid (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Drew Patrizi (keyboards, vocals, guitar), John Farmer (bass, vocals), and Jeremy Bruch (drums, vocals)

Each bringing a diverse range of influences to the stage. Their music employs an exhilarating blend of classic persuasions and fresh enthusiasm; instantly accessible, yet intricate enough to appeal to discriminating audiences. WMMF draws on influences from a span of eras -calling to mind everyone from classic Television to Candy-O-era Cars to the raucous romp of The Kinks - blending the quirks and energy of The Knack and XTC with My Bloody Valentine textures and Jeff Buckley-esque vocal acrobatics. So Little To Do, So Much Time.

As I was listening to The Thermals' newest release 'The Body, The Mind, The Machine' today, I was thinking how much I'm liking it. I loved 'Fuckin A' from 2004, but this one is very Ted Leo-esque? Maybe.

Anyway, I was planning on sharing 'A Pillar of Salt' with you, but some else has something even better.
