Pearl Jam:Borgata Night One

Early in the day Eddie Vedder was spotted down at Strathmere surfing for a few hours and hanging out. Appearently he is pretty good and the local surfers were receptive. It was a great day for him to be out there too since it was some of the best suft we've had around here lately.

On to the show...

Pearl Jam played one hell of a set last night at the Borgata to a packed house of about 3,700. Insanely small venue with tickets scalping for over $600. The people who did get in were treated to rocking run though of:

Ed pre-set: No Surrender (Bruce Springsteen cover)
Set: Long Road, Porch, Hail Hail, Animal, State Of Love And Trust, Whipping, Even Flow, Grievance, Green Disease, Daughter/(WMA)/(Blitzkrieg Bop)/(Ruby Tuesday), I Got Shit, Elderly Woman...., Betterman, Sad, Do The Evolution, Save You, Blood
Encore 1: Man Of The Hour, Off He Goes, Low Light, Crazy Mary, Rearviewmirror
Encore 2: I Believe In Miracles, Once, Alive, Baba O'Riley, Yellow Ledbetter

[Editors Note] This band is on fire, the new album is gonna be amazing.

Long Week...

Its been a long week of concerts. The White Stripes were great, The Killers sucked. End of story.

As far as The Killers, i would have rather listened to the cd in my living room. They have no chemisrty and the lead signer is an American Idol reject.

The White Stripes on the other hand, constructed an amazing experience. The show rocked and was totally enteraining. This was the thrid time i had seen them and they just get better and more experimental each time. I hope this enlightenment continues, I like seeing where it goes.

Someone is getting Punk'd

Ashson Kutcher,27, and Demi Moore, 42, tie the knot.

Hopefully this is all an episode of Punk'd, otherwise he's gonna be real pissed one morning in a few years when he wakes up next to a 50 year old woman who hit the wall.

Taking bets on how long this will last.
